There are two different ways to open the mediabrowser: * via the sidebar menu „Overview & Functions“ to the left Display varies depending on the intended use. When calling the mediabrowser from the sidebar menu, no campaign is selected and you can only upload images to the mediabrowser or edit them. When called via „Insert image“ in an article the intention is to insert an image, so you have the respective functions available in the mediabrowser dialog pane. Custom Edition All files in the mediabrowser are referenced in campaigns! No copies will be made when images are inserted into campaigns. When deleting a file in the mediabrowser it will no longer be available for campaigns, surveys, pages etc where they have been added previously. This also affects campaigns already dispatched – e.g images cannot be loaded any more by the recipient and are missing in the affected email.

Usage

The mediabrowser uses a conventional tree structure for displaying the available files. Clicking the folder symbol or the preceding plus/ minus will open or close the folder. Opening it will unfold all content. Clicking a folder or file name will select the folder or file. Selected folder names will be highlighted in blue, selected file names in gray. In the article editor clicking a file will select it for integration into the article. Here the image is displayed in the preview to the left including size information and the image path. For full size image display without integration, please click the small thumbnail preceding the file name in the tree structure.

Folder Functions

You can manage the folders using the icons below the folder and file display. You can create and name new folders , delete a selected folder and load new files into a selected folder . Individual files can be permanently deleted using the „delete file“ symbol following the file name. The same function allows simultaneous upload of multiple files if they are compressed in a ZIP archive. This will automatically unpack all contained files into the target folder, the ZIP file itself will not be stored.]]>
